| DDB’s Jane Ackerson and Nate De Leon Optimus One Shot Winners Press Release , 9/15/2008 The Optimus One Shot contest provides an opportunity for creatives with less than five years’ experience to submit one 30-second script for the chance to have their spot produced and finished, entirely by Optimus and their new in-house production arm, ONE. “We had so many inspiring and imaginative scripts presented, it’s a testament to the up and coming creative talent in Chicago. It excites me to think what our city has to look forward to with all those incredible young art directors and copywriters out there," said Tom Duff, Optimus President. Contest submitters were asked to “capture the feeling and/or act of being finished.” Based on the criteria of content, style, originality and creativity, Ackerson and De Leon’s script, “Marathon”, was chosen by a panel of judges that included noted directors and agency creative directors. As this year’s winners, Ackerson and De Leon will receive full production of their spot. ONE and Optimus together will provide the director, production and post-production teams and will air the finished spot later this year. |
